Tara Trask and Associates is currently accepting applications for an internship program for both the San Francisco and Dallas offices.
Overview
The internship program is designed to expose interns to the field of litigation consulting, several practice areas, and the firm culture.
Scope
A six week commitment is required, and beginning and ending dates are flexible. While summer interns are required to work a minimum of ten hours per week, they may choose to work up to 30 hours per week depending on their work assignments and their other obligations. Interns will not receive compensation above the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge and experience in the litigation consulting profession.
Work Experience
Interns will be exposed to a wide variety of trial consulting experiences through the program. Whenever practical, we provide the opportunity to attend client meetings, research projects, jury selections and trials. Interns will also be invited to attend the weekly staff conference call for a glimpse at the inner workings of a top tier litigation consulting practice.
While some entry level administrative and project coordination work will be requried, summer interns will also gain valuable experience by working on projects creating trial consulting materials and assisting with informational databases. In addition, interns may have the opportunity to participate on and draft documents related to research projects, giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and analytical writing skills. Tara Trask and Associates seeks to provide a quality work experience that will give interns the opportunity to gain insights and experience many areas of litigation consulting.
