Tara Trask is the CEO and Founder of Tara Trask and Associates, a full service litigation strategy, jury research and trial consulting practice with offices in San Francisco and Dallas. She has 15 years of experience in the field of jury research and has debriefed thousands of jurors, both mock and actual. Ms. Trask has been involved in over 300 jury trials across the country, most recently assisting Centocor in Centocor v. Abbott, the largest patent infringement verdict is U.S. History. Ms. Trask assisted Oprah Winfrey in Texas Beef Group v. Winfrey and ABC in Food Lion v. ABC. She developed the juror profile used by Exxon in the Exxon v. Lloyd’s excess case involving the Valdez spill. In an 11 to 1 decision, that jury found that the underwriters should honor the policy and the resulting $250 million dollar verdict was one of the largest in Texas that year.

Formerly with Sedgwick, Detert, Moran and Arnold, LLP, he has tried multiple matters for companies both in the United States and Europe and was instrumental in designing and conducting early mock trials in several “bet the company” lawsuits which helped to determine the ultimately successful strategy for handling difficult cases.
